Review: Sin Undone by Larissa Ione

HER TOUCH IS DEADLYI love the Demonica series by Larissa Ione.  I have been a big fan of hers for a while now and was awaiting the release of this book when I saw Hatchette was handing out review copies.  Safe to say, I hopped aboard that train. : )

As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she'll die before she'll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin's innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: She creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence.

HIS HUNGER CAN'T BE DENIED

Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she's no stranger: He's bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld's most wanted and Con soon learns he's the only one who can help her . . . and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.  description taken from here.

Let's start with the cover first.  While it's very nice, I think the last 4 covers in the series were way hotter.  I'm probably being biased though, because those guys that stared on those covers were ammmazing.  Still, the cover is not a big deal, so moving on..

I loved the characters.  Sin stayed herself through the whole book, which I thought was very important.  I mean, Sin is a hard ass.  She can't say, 'oh, that guy is so hot and sweet that I'm going to give up killing people now'.  It would have felt very fake and wrong, so I'm extreamly happy that Ione stayed true to her characters.

Con was a great character as well.  I loved the two sides of him, the werewolf and the vampire, I thought it made him a nice contradtion.

Also, I'm not going to mention what it was, but I loved the twist in the story. : )   The plot was well thought out and the ending was great to lead  into a new series.

Heat Rating= Sexy / getting pretty hot
