Review: Love Bites by Lynsay Sands

Love Bites is the 2nd book in Lynsay Sands' Argeneau series. This book is about Etienne Argeneau, a video game designer, and a vampire, who falls in love with a woman named Rachel Garrett.
Rachel works in a morgue. One night, Rachel works the night shift, is brought in another man to examine. But, this man was still alive.
Etienne was shot leaving a business meeting, and unfortunately, was deemed dead. Being a vampire though, he doesn't die all that easily. In the morgue, he wakes up and heals, now that Rachel was removed the bullet from his body.
Still in the morgue, family members of Etienne's come to rescue him. Unfortunately, some bad guys came along as well. Rachel, who is completely human, was shot and dieing. But, Etienne couldn't let this woman who had just saved his life die. A vampire can only turn one person in his or her lifetime (by vampire law), but, what else could he do? Maybe she wasn't the one, but he couldn't let her die.
Feeling like crap, hungry as hell, and in a strange place, Rachel awoke. She finds herself in Etienne's home, and a vampire! Etienne must keep her around until she learns how to live as a vampire, and in the process, finds himself falling in love with the beautiful woman.
Love Bites was so funny! Rachel seemed like a real person, and Etienne was as adorable as adorable can be! It was great. It's staying on my shelf to reread.
